I was born left-handed, but forced to switch at a very young age.
If the experts are right, that has made me 1) awkward at sports, 2) clumsy, 3) slow at learning, and 4) terrible at writing. (And here I am, sharing my writings. What am I thinking?)
I used to think that my life was plain. But as I grew older, I began to understand that no matter how plain your life appears to you, there is always something that another person finds exciting or interesting.
Like my previous incarnation as a radio presenter – which for some reason, many think is quite extraordinary. Or my early forays into music-making as a folk lounge singer and songwriter wannabe. Even in my present job, as a regular salaried worker.
More importantly, the plainness is just a guise. For the most beautiful and meaningful things in life need no embellishment. Like vanilla, unassuming yet distinct.
So, savour the beauty of life in your vanilla world. And welcome to mine.

Hi Jul,
Thanks for the remix! I’ll be delighted to hear it.
Pls send it to: myvanillaworld10@gmail.com.
The work is CC-licensed so remixing is not a problem. Just have to know which parts of the mesh are used so that we can figure out the authors to credit to.
Merci beaucoup!
